Step-by-step guide to glass-making

Even though I could speak English only, staff guided me through each step until a most beautiful glass evolved. I was so stunned, I booked another round right away. Glass was then most carefully wrapped sent to me by postal mail. What a marvellous experience!

It was super fun! The staff was very friendly and explained each step well. You can select your own design and colours for your glass, it feels very personal.

Great fun - be aware of delivery time and charge

The people at the glassblowing workshop were excellent. Friendly friendly but with limited English which didn't stop us. Definitely worth doing but be aware that you have to pay for shipping home or delivery to your hotel a few days after making your glass so do this at the start of your stay. In our case the cost was 1000 Yen to deliver to our hotel.

loved it really helpful people the artisan did all the work, but I chose colours and design and did enough glass blowing to feel I had significant input into my piece
