Our guide Sumiko did a wonderful job of introducing us to Tokyo, she guided us passed the major sites and instructed us in the proper procedures at the shrines and temples as well as at the Ginza shopping areas. She provided background information and was pleasant and engaging throughout the day.

We had a great time on our day-tour around Tokyo with Ken (our guide) and Hibashi (our driver). They planned the itinerary according to our wishes and were flexible to ensure we got the most out of culture day. Ken even documented the day with his GoPro and sent us the video. What a nice surprise!

You came at just right timing on the Culture day so you could enjoy traditional events such as performances of Aikido, Horseback Archery and Farmer's festival in Meiji Jingu Shrine in addition to the regular itinerary. One of the advantages of visiting Tokyo is you can experience both traditional and state-of-the-art features of Japan in one day. But you visited this time just some places out of hundreds. This was the best way to start out trip in Tokyo. Ken was fantastic and knowledgeable and our driver was incredible. We gave Ken our preferences and he planned our day for us. He even documented the day with his camera and took the time to prepare a great video memory for us. This was an amazing experience for me and my son. Thank you Ken san!!

Perfect day in Tokyo

We had a fantastic time with Sumiko and Taiji, our driver. We were a group of 8 with grandparents, parents and three children under 10. Sumiko was able to keep everyone engaged, happy and comfortable. She showed us special things including her favorite stalls in the market and customized our tour, adapting on the fly. The van was very comfortable and stocked with water and a car seat. We couldn’t have had a better guide and driver for our first time in Tokyo. We plan on hiring them again on our next trip.
