We had such a wonderful time exploring the old compound location with our guide Mr. Yasuho Suzuki. He went in depth on the history of the Imperial Palace as well as the different Eras. It was beautiful and truly worth the price to have an actual human being explaining everything rather than a phone. 100% reccomend.

Suzuki Yasuho was a great tour guide. He was very informative and took us to see many things at a good pace. His English was solid and was even able to have a good sense of humor in English too. The overall experience was very good.

One hour is not enough to show you and explain the place, but you could touch a part of Edo castle, Tokugawa shogunate government and its policies at the right place. For your next visit to Tokyo, I'd recommend some other historic places such as temples and shrines for further understanding Japanese history, culture and people. Best regards Yasuho Suzuki
