Tour is an absolute must for everyone

An essential for every new tourist, or local who wants to familiarize or refresh themselves on the city's most prestigious attractions as well as historical landmarks. 10/10 Will recommend

I visited Toronto in mid-October. As far as the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tours go, these are the: Pros- reasonably priced; good selection of attraction stops; informative narration; a boat ride on the lake Ontario is included. Cons: Long waits (30-45 min) at each bus stop, so we were reluctant to leave the bus at every stop we wanted to visit; only 5 buses were running the route even though there were many tourists; at the Casa Loma stop, the bus was so crowded that we had to stand in the lower deck for about 1/2 hour, so we couldn't hear or see anything; then, the driver stopped to have a lunch for about 15 minutes, while we waited in the bus. The bottom line: If you can walk, you may be better off travelling on foot. It'd save you money and you'd be able to see everything you wanted. I went with elderly parents, so that wasn't an option for me.
It is very hard to find their location
, Oct 2019
I was running around harborfront to find their stop location. Their stops location page on website was not working. I didn't have data or cellular services on my phone. So I went to Lavazza and tried to find anything relevant on their site but didn't work. Eventually I saw another tour company office and I asked them who guided me where to go. After that bus was all wet and they ran out of napkins to wipe it off. Tour guide was amazing. Once these logistics issue were resolved, it was a good tour

This is a great way to see the city and determine where you want to visit. The boat ride was a bonus...cheaper to buy on line viator than once you arrive
Misinformation given by tour guides
, Sep 2019
We asked our bus tour guide if the Art Gallery of Ontario would be open the next day (Monday) as we would wait until that day to visit the gallery. We also asked if private art galleries would be open on Monday. She consulted with the other guide accompanying us on the tour and both reassured us that all the galleries would be open on Monday. None of them were open on Monday so we were unable to visit them during our time in Toronto. If we had known that all galleries were closed on Monday, we would have rearranged our sightseeing schedule in Toronto.

The areas covered on the tour were informative and enjoyable, although from my conversations with other sightseers the CN Tower was ok to see but boring to visit. The bost ride was lovely. Some of the guides read from the script - and the presentation was flat. But Paolo was EXCELLENT! He inserted humour and extra pieces of information and made the tour a great pleasure. The drivers awed me with their ability to navigate the crowded, difficult streets. Keep up the good work!
Don't do it
, Sep 2019
It took over 3 hours to do the whole (1.5 hour) circuit. They wouldn't let us off the bus between stops even though it took over 20 minutes to get through a couple of traffic lights. Worst hop on hop off trip of any in North America or Europe.
Two experiences in one
, Sep 2019
First part of the tour was not worth it both for what to see and especially for the guide who didn't say a word, didn't look like she wanted to be there at all. Plus the audio was off (not in tuned with seeing or replayed 2 or 3 times). Second hop in PM had this SUPER Guide Paolo who was funny, well informed and respectful of his guests. Last 3 stops were more interesting.
A fantastic day out for the whole family!

We took this trip just yesterday ( August 20th) and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were a large and rather challenging group.....two able bodied adults, four teenagers, a three year old, my daughter in law in her wheelchair, and myself, a senior with a walker. We were treated from star to finish with courtesy helpfulness, respect and good humour. I simply cannot say enough about the kindness of the staff, with particular thanks to the lovely young man who helped me off the boat ! Really outstanding service ! The whole tour was enjoyable, informative and well run. If there was one tiny disappointment, it was that we did not get to see Casa Loma, except from a distance. It would have been so nice to have had a closer we had on a previous tour some years ago. The tour had a lovely ''upbeat" feel to it, the tour guides on both boat and bus were well informed and enthusiastic and we ALL (from age3-77) really enjoyed it !
Waste of alot of time

The bus leaked water on the lower level. The sound system was impossible to understand. The bus ran late and often was too full to accommodate us.
