The tour was okay overall. The tour guide's English was hard to understand at times, so it made it a little difficult to follow the stories, which may have been more interesting if there wasn't a language barrier. The "underground" is a crypt below a church (which sits high above the street level), since there is no actual underground space in Venice. But this part was quite cool going by candle light and learning about that place. The areas of the tour generally were not that nice (Dorsodoru district), but understandable to go there since a lot of the stories centered on the life of Venetians in that district throughout history. It's just a little off the beaten path and not so touristy for the most part.

This was an interesting walking tour I wish we had done earlier in our trip. Due to scheduling, this ended up being our last night and we learned about things we wish we had time to go back and see more of. The tour was 2 hours and took as through a few different neighborhoods of Venice. Learned things we wouldn't normally pick up on, and if this is the only walking tour you do, it's well worth your time.
