I missed my ride as the meeting point was so difficult to find. I emailed the host asking for directions and they did not even reply. I wasted 27 Euros for something I did not experience.

Only one issue, which I’ll get out of the way. Confusion regarding where to meet. Followed google maps to the location and found 2 gondola areas. Tried both of these, was sent from one to the other and eventually advised by one of the men to wait in front of the post office and a guide will arrive. Our booking was for 3pm and we got there about 2.35pm. Guide didn’t arrive until 2.50pm. Then we walked. She literally walked us from one gondola area to another, (not the ones next to us, but ones further along) and asked the gondola men if any of them would take us. Thankfully two of them agreed to take our 2 groups of 4. Would have preferred the gondolas to have been organised before we got there and meeting place to be at gondola point. It was 3.10pm, by the time we got on. The gondola ride itself was perfect. We had 2 pleasant girls on with us, who seemed to enjoy it also. It was so peaceful and the skill the men have getting round tight corners, under bridges and avoiding obstacles was amazing to watch. Just wished it had lasted longer. Might pay extra for a longer journey next time.

Visiting Venice right now is definitely a fascinating experience as, given the recent decrease in visitors, you have had the unique privilege of living the most Venetian soul of the city. Regarding your comment about the confusion on the meeting point, the address provided is the exact location where, as stated in your voucher, you will meet our representative who will check your vouchers and give information to do the tour. Please note that on the voucher we also advise our clients to be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the scheduled time. The departure point is not directly at the gondola station for logistic reasons, since it is impossible to manage reception procedures and check vouchers of all customers in an area of great flow as is a gondolas station. Regarding the representative asking the gondola men if any of them would take you, I would like to clarify that the gondolas are pre-booked, so the gondoliers did not have to “agree” to take you, they were probably just figuring out who was assigned to your groups. Our customers’ opinions are always valuable for us to maintain a high level of service and also to improve customer satisfaction so we thank you for taking the time to write this review. Gondola driver didn't talk at all and wasn't interactive. Would've ranked lower but I'm glad I still got to take photos and experienced the ride. Just would have liked more information about what we were seeing and some cool facts about the city. Over all it was ok

The location from where the Gondola ride was to start was not very clear.. It took time for us to get to the place. Then after we found the place, the co-ordinators were not there .. We were just thinking whether we were at the right place. Considering the price the ride was overpriced.

The gondola ride was OK, but getting there was not perfect. A lot of people waiting for somebody to come and collect us, then we were put in different Gondolas in group of 5. It is the cheapest be the way, because if somebody want to ride there without booking it will be 80€< so still it was worth this little inconenience.

Any ride on a gondola is worth the trip. Usually a private short ride is 80 Euro or over depending on the length of time. This ride is about 1/2 hour long and takes a very scenic and circuitous route so you can get a taste of the old world.
