Kenny was a fantastic guide. He really knows his history and we immediately fell into an interesting conversation about different historical tidbits between the three of us. You’ll feel as if you’re on an excursion with an old friend. We highly recommend him

The ticket clearly states the tour begins at 930 am from 701 Pennsylvania Avenue NW. The information you received about the tour plainly says be at 701 Pennsylvania Avenue NW by 9:15. Robert emails me at 9:30 am that he had gone to the wrong address. According to Robert he went 701 Pennsylvania avenue SE. At 9:30 I was doing my tour for the people who were on time and at the right location.I do answer my phone especially when I know not all the people are on the tour but I am not looking at my emails. When I got to the Capital(our first stop at10 am) I received a email from Robert asking for a refund. At no time did Robert ever call me to actually speak to me. I did not have Robert's number. If Robert had been at 701 Pennsylvania Ave SE at 9:15 and realized he was in the wrong place and called me I would had told him to meet me the tour across the at the National Archives.Perhaps using the phone would had been better than emailing me.

We learned the history of black Americans in Washington DC, Georgetown, Anacostia. It was factual and interesting. We stopped and got out with enough time to see the sights. We Enjoyed the tour.

Tour guide/Driver Kenny was informative, interesting and funny. He gets 4 stars. Please note where the stops are on this tour and what is listed as “pass by”. You will only pass by, if you want a picture, get a window seat and camera ready. Please note where pick up begins and your last stop is, this will help you plan for parking. We did not stop at 2 stops listed, due to it being Sunday, tour ended at 1245pm. Because of that, we thought some adjustments to sites or cost should have been made.

The tour started at 9:15 so the tour was 3 hours and 30 minutes .If the Douglass grounds had been opened we would had stopped for 20 minutes. Do to a shortage of Park Rangers the Frederick Douglass grounds is only open on Friday and Saturday. KB Tours has no control when the Frederick Douglass home grounds will be open . Once the Douglass grounds open up on a daily we will stop there everyday .
