A Nightmare at Iwo Jima 2 Senior African Americans left Stranded
Pepi
, Oct 2020
To whom it may concern: Big Bus Tour driver David left us in the pitch black War Memorial Park . We were just left behind after paying 98.00 and we only took a few pictures of the Iwo Jima Memorial. Your driver David was very incompotent and wasn't conscientious enough to notice that 2 of his African American Seniors were left standing by stairs. As we proceeded to approach the bus to reboard the lights were shined in our eyes and we were left in the dark, unaware where we were, how did this happen? # 790087814We trusted Big Bus Tours to employ at least individuals who are capable of completing the task of picking up passengers and dropping passengers back where we started!! Needless to say we had to act fast and out of total Fear for our Lives!! We were able to find the path to the streets where we sat on someone's front stairs without anyone from Big Bus Tour at Night coming to rescue us from this very dangerous and unbelievable treatment ! Please call me in the morning if not tonight @ 951-310-2324 so that we can discuss how Big Bus Tours @ Night how to make my husband and I Whole !! Sadly and Unbelievably Sylvia and Pepi Jackson PS: We want all of our items that we were told to leave on the bus by David. Conf# 1186140322 Booking # 790087814

Terrible information provided when you purchase tickets. Both the ticket and website provided 2 bus stops for the night tour of DC. My family and 2 other families showed up at the Willard Hotel stop before 6:30 pm, as written out on our tickets. The bus never showed up!! When another family called the number, an automated service told them the pick up location was at Union Station at 7:00. I got on the app and chatted with customer service I was told the pick up was Union Station at 6:30. Terrible instruction and customer interface for this company! The suggestion from customer service was that I should go again another night and show up at the correct location. Do Not sign up for Big Bus Tours!!

Too expensive

The tour was OK, not more than that. The guide was nice and friendly but for what we've got alltogether - it should have cost much less than USD45.

Excellent tour of the highlights. Good way to orient yourself to the city. We could have had a better guide, he was very mumbly and a fast talker. Our crew was George and Trina

The night tour on July 26 with Sam was amazing. He had so much knowledge and history of our tour. The night to or was so relaxing and I enjoyed sitting on the top deck. Worth every penny! The 30 minute stop at Lincoln memorial was a nice surprise as well. Thanks Big Bus!

Needed a different day, night and bus!!

There were 5 of us, 2 Grandparents over 65, mother and 2 grandchildren 4 & 6. We loaded at Willard Hotel, July 20, around 7:00pm. On 3rd bus. Got to Union Station and found out ours was not included in the tour and would have to get on another bus. There were probably 5-6 other already loaded buses with a line of people on sidewalk. Decided to just include the bus. They were pulling out and we were telling tour guide on bus next to us that we had no guide. Bus stopped and we got a guide, sat there trying to get intercom working. Decided to go on still working on it. Stopped when never got it working and they were getting another bus. Stood waiting over 30 minutes. Bus came (partial cover, front) older and of course blowing air didn't worth _hit! It was the 50 th anniversary of the moon landing. Therefore we pretty much saw buildings and traffic! Saw Washington, Jefferson and White House. Got off at Lincoln for around 15-20 minutes. That was it! After11:30 and being taken back to where we started. Very disappointed that they schedule tours when they know special things are happening and NO lanes are designated for buses so you're sitting in traffic FOREVER.! Little children don't care about the buildings you're sitting in front of. Personally neither do adults after awhile. I felt so sorry for the bus driver and tour guide. Terrible timing!
