Patriotic Experience

Joe the tour guide was very friendly and informative and funny too! The only disappointment was the guides at the mansion. They seemed to rush telling the information and acted like they had been saying the same thing a million times. They came across as bored and did not seem interested in any questions, almost annoyed.

Mount Vernon was awesome and very thought provoking. The estate is beautiful and well maintained. The guides at the mansion were also great. Our tour guide was not so great. He was 10 minutes late to the pick up site. He would point out things to look at as he drove but half the time we couldn't see what it was he was pointing out. He was very knowledgeable about the names and locations of landmarks but didn't give any history of the landmarks - just pointed them out.

We could have just taken an Uber. The driver/Tour Guide was dry. He was quiet for most of the trip. The tour is for Mt Vernon and Alexandria but nothing much to see in Alexandria. Tour not worth it.

The trip was very good. However 2 from our party could not go. I have not received any response to my communications about their refund. We booked the tour less than 24 hours of the tour. I want the refund for the 2 unused tickets. Daniel Warda

I will start off with saying the lady tour guide was good. With that said the guy that was driving was terrible. A 20 minute drive to Mount Vernon turn into a hour and a half. Because the driver got us lost and didn't know where he was going. Which made us over a hour late for our tour. We didn't even get to go to old Alexandria and didn't have time to really look around Mount Vernon. Because everything was closing and we was rushed through our tour of the house. It was supposed to be a 5 hour tour which would have gave us plenty of time if we had a driver that knew what he was doing. at 85 dollars a ticket per person you think he would have. I was extremely upset as we didn't have the time to truly see everything the plantation had to offer or simply enjoy a piece of history.

Mount Vernon was amazing, the tour guide was very polite. He gave us a bit of a history lesson and also pointed out things that we wouldn't have known about.

Or guide Joseph was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and kind. The only drawback was that we didn’t have more time at Mt. Vernon. Three hours wasn’t enough to see it all!!! The museum was absolutely amazing!!!
