Very efficient and received booking reference and tickets were received at the entrance to Windsor Castle. The only disappointment was that if I had bought the tickets direct from Windsor Castle they allow you to re visit any time within a year. However the tickets purchased from Viator do not allow this.

This castle is a must to see. Beautiful area and rich in history. I would not recommend visiting "The Two Brewers Pub". The bar keep was very rude.

I bought tickets online for a family visit to Windsor Castle as a special day out for my wife's birthday. It was a fabulous day and it went down a treat. The audio guides were excellent, allowing you to move at your own pace and pause at what specifically interests you. Note that it is easy to get separated from your party. I would definitely recommend asking questions of the stewards who are there to help and love to do so. We spoke to one lady - in St George's Chapel - who had an in-depth knowledge and took us "off-piste" so we learned much that was not in the audio guide. Bitter/sweet. It was SO interesting that we simply have to go back. We spent 4 hours there and scratched the surface. Had we bought the tickets at the door or via the Royal Collection Trust (RCT) website, we could have got our tickets stamped for re-entry as many times as we like over the next year. Sorry, guys...

I booked tickets as a birthday present for my wife for Feb 9th. All the Royal Parks had announced closure on Feb 8th due to an incoming storm so trawled the web etc but could find no information about the Castle. A phone number supplied on the web was not recognised. On arriving at the Castle a notice was displayed informing visitors the Castle was closed and with the same un-recognised phone number displayed. Other visitors arriving at the same time had also travelled from far and wide Having incurred travel costs/car park etc I was informed by the Castle no redress was possible despite accepting the fiasco was their making.

The castle is fantastic.. However if you book directly through the castle site (which i thought i was..I wasn't..) you get an additional visit free within 12 months when you get the ticket stamped at the end of the tour. You cannot get this through this site and the price is the same !!! Book direct....

We arrived after 11:00 and there were no que’s. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Audio-guides excellent and allowed us to enjoy the rooms that were open on the day at leisure. Well worth a visit.
